Preliminary patch notes for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition have been published

Ed Street Fighter V

In what seems like a case of someone accidentally pressing ‘publish’ too early, patch notes for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, the huge update to Street Fighter V that’s set to come out on January 16, have been released. The update is set to come out with new V-Triggers for all characters, an arcade mode, and, of course, a lot of balance changes.

Ever wondered what the worst boss fights ever are? We’ve put together a list. Don’t @ us.

Event Hubs noticed it before the patch notes were swiftly taken down, and have a full list of the changes, which could take a while to go through, especially for competitive players. Hitboxes and hurtboxes across lots of characters have been changed, and there’s been a lot of changes made to individual frames, so expect players to take some time to get used to the Arcade edition.

In case you don’t want to read “Hurtbox has been changed.” over and over again, HiFight on Twitter has put together a list of some of the most interesting changes through a Twitter thread. You can see the start of it below – it goes a long way down.

Unfortunately, these changes don’t seem to be fully accurate, as an update has been sent out to say these changes are final, and a correct list of patch notes will be coming out soon.
