Superhot devs are in the middle of “doing secretive work on a bunch of grand VR plans”

Superhot

Superhot – the FPS where time flows only when you move – allows you to slice an enemy bullet right out of the air with your katana, staring it down as it gets closer with each step you take, before cutting it in half and launching your sword at the head of the enemy who fired it. Imagine that in VR.

Though most of these aren’t quite as stylish as Superhot, these are the best FPS games on PC.

Superhot came out yesterday, and people are already uploading their skills to the game’s video sharing site Killstagram. It’s a cool service, showing off your fight sequences in a single, unbroken flow.

This brilliant idea for a videogame extra combined with the genius core mechanic at the heart of Superhot gives us hope that whatever the Superhot team comes up with next will be both super and hot. That’s why the developers talking about secret VR plans gets us all excited.

“We are constantly working on the Xbox One version of Superhot and doing secretive work on a bunch of grand VR plans,” the team said in an update on the game’s Kickstarter page. “We can’t tell you too much but Superhot in VR is going to be fun, oooh so much fun.”

We will keep you updated once we find out what these secret plans are, but it’s nice to know something is coming.

Cheers, Polygon.
