Titanfall has landed; here’s our Titanfall review.
Are you ready for some more Titanfall leaks? We’ve had a few already, most courtesy of NeoGAF’s RazorUK, and he’s at it again. This time he’s discovered information about Titanfall’s prestige system, where pilots can regenerate, making them sharper and more deadly.
But will you be able to become Peter Capaldi? One can only hope.
While the maximum level of a pilot is, according to the beta files, 14, the last item has a level requirement of 49, suggesting that the maximum level at launch will be 50. And there are 10 generation ranks on top of this.
RazorUK dug up the menu text, which you’ll see when you choose to regenerate.
“Years of battle have taken their toll. We can regenerate you… at a cost.
Your body can be restored. But your memory and your experience…all will be lost.
When you awaken you will respawn a [next level] generation Pilot.
You will be better, sharper, acquiring experience even faster than before.”
The actual bonuses you receive from regenerating and how they stack with each generation is still unknown.
Nick, Matt, Jeremy and I faffed around quite a bit during the beta, leaping across buildings and harassing folk with mechs. Take a gander and see what we made of it.
Cheers, NeoGAF.
