Tetris Ultimate arrives on Steam, but you might want to wait before buying

Tetris Ultimate on Steam

Tetris, one of the most enduring puzzle games in our fine hobby’s history, has finally made it onto Steam. Ubisoft’s Tetris Ultimate is the first time the game has been available on the platform, though this version is a port of last year’s console release, which received a mixed reception.

Unfortunately, you might want to hold off on spending £7.99/$14.99 on the game, as users have reported issues on the Steam forums ranging from frequent crashes to the omission of features like rebindable controls.

Seeing as that Tetris is over 30 years old and this version has already existed on consoles for a year, it’s a bit surprising to see it launch in such poor shape. Not to worry; you can play a whole heap of different versions on just about every device you could imagine.

And if you desperately want to play it on PC, you could always check out Free Tetris right here.
