Swery’s new game is The Good Life, a werecat RPG

The Good Life

Hidetaka “Swery65” Suehiro, the Deadly Premonition developer and cat fancier, has announced his latest eccentric project, and it sounds utterly delightful. The Good Life is to be a mystery RPG set in an English town where everyone turns into a cat when the sun sets.

Rainy Woods is the self-proclaimed “happiest place in the world” and is hosting an American photographer called Naomi. While there, she discovers that this quiet town has a bizarre secret: everyone is a werekitty. Including Naomi herself, it turns out. That’s a feline mystery worthy of an inquisitive photographer.

“It’s a mystery game based on the framework of a daily life RPG,” Swery explains. “I’m positive that the happiest town in the world and the most bizarre townspeople in the world will capture your heart and pull you deep into their world.”

He’s keeping the details under wraps, but a Fig campaign will kick off in 17 days, where we’ll hopefully find out more about The Good Life. In the meantime, here’s Swery enjoying his very own Good Life.
