Titanfall 2's 1v1 mode 'Coliseum’ revealed in swish new trailer

As the days grow shorter and the Fall rolls in,  so the big games start to pop up at a pace. In the case of 2016, there are so many big games headed straight for us that there’s a real chance some mammoths - such as Titanfall 2 - might get forgotten.

EA is naturally keen to ensure that doesn’t happen, which explains why it’s put together a slick new trailer packed full of Pilots.

If you’re new to Titanfall, Pilots are the folk that operate the Titans, meaning they’re rather important. This latest near two minute swish fest shows exactly what the Pilots will be capable of in play, including lots of wall runs, double jumping and general hovering around the place.

Indeed, time actually on the ground is at a premium.

The last few seconds also cast some light on Titanfall 2‘s 1v1 mode, called Coliseum.

According to GameSpot, developer Respawn has claimed the “tickets” required to gain entry to this 1v1 encounter are earned either through playing multiplayer, or by buying specially marked Mountain Dew drinks or bags of Doritos, amongst other promotions

Honestly, you couldn’t make this stuff up.
