To The Moon 3: Impostor Factory is out at the end of 2020, here’s a new trailer

Impostor Factory gets a brand new trailer

Earlier this year To the Moon developer Freebird Games announced its next game, Impostor Factory, with a brief video and a mysterious description: “It’s only logical that this next title from Freebird Games will be filled with bloody murders.” Now, the dev has unveiled a fresh new trailer for you to check out – and news of when it’s due to release.

The trailer, which you can get a look at below, offers an exciting first look at Impostor Factory, the third in the To the Moon series, though the dev isn’t giving away too much about the game just yet. The description simply reads: “Something’s coming. And it’s weird.”

Numbered as ‘Episode X’ (rather than ‘3’ in the style of its prequels To the Moon and Finding Paradise), it’s “a bonkers time-loop tragicomedy murder mystery thriller involving multiple casualties and a suspicious cat,” according to a press release. Like its predecessors in the series, it can also be played independently, explains the studio, so you won’t need to have tried them first to get stuck in.

And that’s not all – the game’s Steam page also goes live today, so you can go get a look at some screenshots right now.

When is the impostor factory release date?

Freebird Games hasn’t specified an exact date to mark on our calendars just yet, but the new trailer reveals that the Impostor Factory release date is due sometime at the “end of 2020” – so, perhaps around this time next year.

The devs also say that Impostor Factory “will likely mark the end of an era for Freebird Games and the To the Moon series,” so it sounds like it’s one to look forward to – and not to be missed.
