With the reveal of a release date for Total War: Warhammer 2, Creative Assembly also popped up at the E3 2017 PC Gaming Show to reveal Quest Battles. The latest trailer shows High Elves clash with Lizardmen in a massive battle.
Here’s everything we know about Total War: Warhammer 2.
The battle shown is a Quest Battle called The Battle of the Fallen Gates. Quest Battles are a new feature, and we’ll no doubt be learning far more about them in the months leading up to the game’s release on September 28.
Involved in the battle is Kroq-Gar, the Legendary Lord Lizardmen. Creative Assembly made a bit of hubbub regarding the fact that the Lizardmen were spacefaring dinosaurs that ride dinosaurs. And who can blame them, that does sound pretty rad.
The game will have four diverse new factions, including Lizardmen, Dark Elves, High Elves, and almost certainly the Skaven.
