As you may or may not know, there’s a multiplayer open beta this weekend for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, the grimdark RTS sequel set in Games Workshop’s grimdark sci-fi universe. Grimdark.

To get you in the mood to kick a couple of killa kans, developers Relic Entertainment have released a video of a three-versus-three multiplayer match, with added commentary. Game director Philippe Boulle and designer Carolina Mastretta will pick out the good plays and the costly errors, helping you to formulate your strategy ahead of the beta. You can register for the open beta here. It will run from 18:00 BST (that’s 10:00 Pacific) this Friday, April 21, to the same time on Monday, April 24. Check here for a handy FAQ of what’s included in the beta as compared to the full release.
Speaking of which, you won’t even have to wait a week before Dawn of War III releases properly – it’s due on April 27.
