wolfenstein 2 the new colossus system requirements

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is about to provide us with one heck of a Nazi-killin’ good time this Friday, and just ahead of that release Bethesda have gone and revealed the game’s system requirements so that you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Check out BJ’s arsenal with the weapons of Wolfenstein II.

As seems to now be the standard, the requirements are provided in stages for 720p at low settings and 1080p at high – though for Wolfenstein II, both sets of requirements are targeting 60fps.

Minimum specs (720p 60fps at low):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 770 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
  • RAM: 8GB
  • OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Storage: 55GB

Recommended specs (1080p 60fps at high):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-9370 or better
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB or better
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 64-Bit
  • Storage: 55GB

Both sets of requirements come to us courtesy of PC Gamer, who also report that the game will feature all the visual options PC players would hope for, from unlocked frame rates and an FOV slider to loads of tweakable settings to optimize performance. Wolfenstein II will also offer colourblind modes for protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia.

Wolfenstein II releases October 27, and promises the return of the most villainous Nazi of all.
