Amid all of yesterday’s a election news we almost missed that Colleen Lachowicz, the democrat state senator candidate seeking election in Maine, beat her opponent by 900 votes. Lachowicz was the subject of a smear campaign that targeted the fact she played World of Warcraft as a reason for being unfit for office. It’s good to see such a ridiculous attack didn’t keep Lachowicz from winning the election.
