Last week I travelled to the Eidos Montreal headquarters in Montreal, where Eidos Montreal are located. I was there for the first hands-on with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the next entry in the stealth-or-shoot-’em-up series, due for release 23 February.

I played the game for a good four hours, split across two missions – the opening level set in a derelict hotel in Dubai, and the second much later in the game, taking place in Prague. I have penned my full Deus Ex hands-on verdict at some considerable length elsewhere, but also wanted to give some info to the TL;DR crew.

Below you’ll find myself and Phil having a chinwag about the new augmentations, how the game is improving combat compared to Human Revolution, and the increased options you’ll have for both lethal and non-lethal playthroughs.
