Titanfall open beta is "possible" according to Respawn Community Manager

Titanfall open beta possible

Titanfall has landed; here's our Titanfall review.

Would you like to smash through windows, run around like a gun-toting maniac and punch mechs in their silly faces? You probably do, and you probably don't want to have to wait until March 11th to do it, which is the launch date for Respawn's mech shooter Titanfall.

A limited alpha has been available for invitees on Xbox One, but the rest of us haven't had a shot outside of big events. According to Community Manager Abbie Heppe, you might be able to get your grubby mitts on Titanfall a bit early via open beta, however.

It's far from a confirmation, but it does stand to reason that a multiplayer shooter would benefit from the sort of stress testing that open betas are handy for, especially since the alpha was restricted to Xbox One.

Each to their own, I guess. But I hate CoD and this looks really interesting to me.

Sad it will use Origin. Not gonna download that again and let them spy on me!

Wouldn't surprise me if that user is actually a console player asking for beta since he didn't get into the alpha. It also wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft made a deal with EA to make the "possible" beta available only on Xbox, since that's where Microsoft gets their money from.

There are lots of people that would purchase a Xbone if that were the case - perhaps they've been thinking about it but never got around to it.

I'm really looking forward to this game, but I can't trust CoD developers to care ENOUGH for PC, even though they left CoD a long time ago.

This game looks like a Dude'Bro game, which is sad, I think they already have enough games.
