Alienware Best Buy gaming monitor deal.

We are well and truly entering the OLED era of displays, and this Alienware gaming monitor deal presents great value for an upgrade if you’re ready to leave LCD and LED panels in the past.

Alienware is known for its premium gaming gear, and the AW3423DW is no exception. This specific model, the DWF, has a 165Hz refresh rate, a speedy 0.1ms response time, and an ultrawide 3,440 x 1,440 maximum resolution. On paper, this makes it one of the best curved gaming monitors that your money can buy. Better still, you can currently get $100 off the price at Best Buy, but only if you’re quick.

With an MSRP of $899.99, the Alienware AW3423DWF isn’t cheap, but it still ofers great value considering what it brings to the table in terms of features and as an OLED monitor. Best Buy currently has it on sale for $799.99, making an already great price even better. If you’re looking to save even more, there are currently some open-box units available for just $648.99

Dell is still selling this display for its $899.99 MSRP, while Newegg rather confusingly has it listed at $1,054.99. It’s currently not listed on Amazon either, so you can feel confident that Best Buy is offering the biggest discount available from an online retailer right now.

On top of the aforementioned features, you’re also getting two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and one HDMI 2.0 port. Support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is also included, which is great for owners of AMD GPUs, but there’s sadly no official Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.

It’s also worth noting that the full 165Hz refresh rate is only accessible via a DisplayPort connection, as HDMI will limit you to 100Hz. Luckily, a DP-to-DP connection is included in the box, so there’s no need to go rooting through your spare cables to see if you have one lying around.
