Two trailers from E3 made us stop in our tracks yesterday: a breathless, Bat-tank introducing chunk of Rocksteady’s Arkham Knight; and a bloodily percussive fight ripped from Fatal Mortal Kombat X.
The ever-vigilant Green Man Gaming are on hand to help us prepare for both. Warner Bros are their publisher of the day, which means Batman: Arkham Origins and the Mortal Kombat bundle are a little over a fiver each.
Playfire are the social networking division of GMG. They have a Rewards beta going at the moment which replaces achievement points with store credit to spend on PC games.
Beginning from the moment you boot up reward-compatible games from today’s sale – held in conjunction with, er, us – you’ll earn rewards for in-game progress: 10p, 25p and 50p at a time. Your Playfire account plugs into Steam, so there’s no need for a cumbersome new client.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is currently £3.74: so it’s not unfeasible you might have achieved enough for another brand new game by the end of the day.
