We already know Sega like to tease us. I mean, Bayonetta itself was hinted at with a fake Steam game that itself teased Bayonetta’s PC port. That’s how you do April Fools. Anyway, it looks like Sega just dropped a hint at Vanquish knee-sliding its way onto our towers.

Bayonetta got a small 22KB update today and its fans have been trying to find out what the hell it did. Well, it added a single avatar, via Reddit,to the game’s ‘extras’ folder. That’s literally all it did.

That avatar is the helmet of Vanquish’s main character, the chain-smoking Sam Gideon. Here’s an Imgur link.

Vanquish and Bayonetta developers PlatinumGames said recently that they’d port all their back catalogue to PC, but it’s up to their publishers. Sega seem up for it, don’t they? Surely it’s just a matter of time now.

If you’re after some more Bayonetta, Sega have just released the second developer diary with Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya and character designer Mari Shimazaki. Watch that above.
