Fable Fortune is a CCG set in the world of Albion, and it’s set for its full free-to-play launch this week, developers Mediatonic and Flaming Fowl Studios have announced. The game will launch on Steam, the Windows 10 store, and Xbox One on February 22.

The Fable-based card game hit Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview in July of last year, and has enjoyed a number of updates with significant new features, including a single-player story and more. The Early Access Founder’s Pack has been available for $14.99 / £9.99 / €12.99 and will continue to be up until the free-to-play release, granting access to 30 bonus card packs and additional goodies.

Fable Fortune has you playing one of six hero characters, completing quests during each match that send you down a path of good or evil, each of which unlock new abilities for your heroes and cards. There’s a big focus on co-op, with you and a friend (or stranger) taking on challenging raid bosses in alternating turns with shared units.

Folks formerly from Lionhead brought Fable Fortune to Kickstarter in 2016, but cancelled the campaign after securing funding elsewhere. The game is set to allow cross-play between all three versions, with Steam, Windows Store, and Xbox purchasers all enjoying games with one another.
