Fortnite celebrates summer with literal fortnight this year. The 14 Days of Summer event kicks off today, bringing a selection of LTMs and unvaulted weapons that will rotate out each day. There’ll be fresh daily challenges, an extra reward, and plenty of new stuff to buy in the shop – and there’s even a bit of bonus content for Save the World players.
The 14 Days of Summer challenges have already leaked, so follow that link for details on your new daily goals. The daily LTMs run the gamut from Heavy Metal Squads, where you’ll only find ‘heavy’ weapon variants, to modes like Splashdown Squads, where you get eliminations with water balloons, Headshots Duos, where you can only get damage with headshots, and the return of Wick’s Bounty.
You can see the full list of modes on the official site. It’s all pretty similar to the wintry 14 days of Fortnite event, just with a little less snow and a little more sunburn.
If you’re still a Save the World stalwart, you’ll find a set of new daily quests that’ll earn Summer Tickets, which you can exchange for a new weapon.
