Forza Horizon 3 players will soon get access to a new car for free on August 1. It’s the type of car you might want to take a road trip in with three of your very best friends, when chocobos just aren’t fast enough. Yes, it’s Prince Noctis’ flashy ride from Final Fantasy XV, the Regalia.

Microsoft announced the freebie at ChinaJoy 2017. If you’ve got either Horizon 3 or Final Fantasy XV by August 1, you’ll get access to the car.
Driving in Final Fantasy XV, even in manual mode, isn’t very hands-on (at least until you upgrade it), though it is very relaxing. In Forza Horizon 3, hopefully the Regalia will handle a bit differently – the team have had free rein to determine how the car performs, while Square Enix provided data and images based on the original.
Microsoft describes it as a cruiser’s car. It’s a bit of a beast at 21-feet long and seven feet wide, with a 7.2 litre supercharged V12 engine – the sort of thing that might dominate an Outback road.
