Greedfall review scores – our roundup of the critics

The critics' scores for Spiders' new RPG are in

Developer Spiders’ fantasy-colonial RPG Greedfall has now charted its course to our PCs and weighed anchor – it’s here, and the reviews are starting to pour in.

Following the Greedfall launch trailer earlier this week that showcased the game’s intriguing new spin on the role playing genre, bringing monsters and magic to a European colonial setting, the game is now available for you to get your hands on. That means it’s time to look at what critics have made of the game, and find out if it’s worth your hard-earned pennies.

So far, it looks like Greedfall has been warmly welcomed by critics across the board, with a score of 77 on Metacritic at the time of writing. Similarly, over on Opencritic it’s scored a healthy 75. Reviews so far have highlighted its well crafted quest design and engaging narrative, with only a few minor flaws noted by critics around some gameplay mechanics like dialogue. In conclusion, then, it looks like Greedfall won’t be walking the plank.

Now, to the scores – check out what the critics have given the game below:

Gamespot: 5/10
