Hearthstone’s pretty popular. Also, water is wet. But now we know exactly how popular it is. Today, the folks over at Blizzard are no doubt pretty chuffed, as they’ve revealed that the game’s got 20 million players.
“Thank you all for joining us in Hearthstone,” said the developer. “We’re going to need a bigger tavern!”

It certainly got its hooks into us, here at the virtual PCGN office. Our Nick called it “the best online collectible card game you can play” in his Hearthstone review.
And it got bigger a wee while ago, putting its own spin on dungeon adventures with the Curse of Naxxramas expansion, the first part of which was free. Blizzard said that it was the most successful week for the game ever, when it launched in August.
