Where are the Hellblade 2 Lorestangir locations? Senua’s Saga might take her to the distant shores of Iceland, but it’ll take more than that to get rid of our old buddy Druth. Hellblade 2 Lorestangir are the equivalent of Lorestones from Senua’s Sacrifice. These collectible totems contain a fragment of the skáldic verse that follows Grettir the Strong, narrated by Druth.
There are 18 Lorestangir in Hellblade 2 in total, and they can be located in chapters one through five. You can activate the Lorestangir using your Focus ability, just like Hellblade 2 hidden faces. Once activated, the rune displayed on the lorestone turns red and Druth narrates the relevant fragment of the verse. Like the Norse tales told during Senua’s descent into Hel in Senua’s Sacrifice, Grettir’s verse offers a new way of interpreting the events of Senua’s Saga. Rekjyanestá
There is one Hellblade 2 Lorestangir in chapter one:
Lorestangir #1 – Shore of Slaves
This is the first Hellblade 2 Lorestangir you encounter, and as such it’s almost impossible to miss. Proceed past the banner bearing the Borgarvirki symbol until the path widens. The Lorestangir is at the cliff edge on the right. It’s in plain sight, and the Furies will comment on it as you approach.
Freyslaug
There are four Hellblade 2 Lorestangir in chapter two:
Lorestangir #2 – Freyslaug Sighted
You can find this Lorestangir right at the beginning of chapter 2, outside the ruined village. Instead of following Thórgestr along the path to Freyslaug, head to the small stone huts on the right. The Lorestangir is to the left of the haybale, overlooking the grave mounds.
Lorestangir #3 – Return Home
After you’ve solved the ruined village puzzle, head across the bridge towards the draugr camp. Proceed through the destroyed hut with the man hanging on a hook, and follow the path to the left once you make it outside. Head through the gap in the fence, then duck under the barricade to the left. The Lorestangir is on the immediate right.
Lorestangir #4 – Draugar Ceremony
Enter the draugr camp and shimmy across the cliff, then drop down the ledge on the right. Continue forward until you reach a ladder on the left. Head up the ladder and proceed to the right. Hop over the wall, then proceed until you reach the Lorestangir at the end of the path.
Lorestangir #5 – Meeting the Stranger
Follow Fargrímr to the point where the path begins to slope downwards. A split in the path is marked by a wooden post with a black rag tied to it, beside a rock marked with a white sigil. Proceed along that separate path on the left until you reach the Lorestangir waiting for you at the end.

There are six Hellblade 2 Lorestangir in chapter three:
Lorestangir #6 – Red Hills
Follow Fargrímr and Thórgestr until you reach the same wooden post and sigil rock formation that marked the previous Lorestangir. Fargrímr and Thórgestr will begin to veer right towards the settlement; instead, head to the left and follow the path as it loops around the ruined hut. The Lorestangir is straight ahead.
Lorestangir #7 – On the Hill
After your conversation with Fargrímr, turn around and head back into the settlement. Proceed along the main path that loops around and up to the hut at the top of the hill. Turn left as you approach the ledge leading back down and head up to the Lorestangir to the right of the hut.
Lorestangir #8 – Find the Hiddenfolk
After you complete the first Hiddenfolk puzzle, proceed up the hill until you reach a white ledge on the left. Head up and continue to the left, then squeeze through the gap in the rock and turn right to reach the Lorestangir.
Lorestangir #9 – Find the Hiddenfolk
After you complete the second Hiddenfolk puzzle, follow the main path through the hills and drop down two ledges to a lower area with pools of water. Squeeze through the narrow gap on the left and climb up the ledge to find the Lorestangir to your left.
Lorestangir #10 – Find the Hiddenfolk
The next Lorestangir is not far from the previous one. Head up the hill past the blue sigil rock and head through the small tunnel on the right. The Lorestangir is just up the ledge directly ahead.
Lorestangir #11 – Find the Hiddenfolk
You can find this Lorestangir while completing the Hiddenfolk puzzle by the lake. Place the sphere on the pedestal then turn around and focus on the two water spheres located next to one another to create a path that curves around the cavern wall – careful, activating the water sphere that overlooks the path initiates a combat encounter. Once the path is fully accessible, proceed along it to find the Lorestangir suspended upside down in front of you.
Huldufólk
There are three Hellblade 2 Lorestangir in chapter four:
Lorestangir #12 – Enter the Caves
After you enter the cave, proceed along the path, dropping down the two ledges. You can see the Lorestangir in a gap between the rock on the right, but to get there, you need to continue forwards and down another ledge. The path splits here, so head right and climb up the ledge to reach the Lorestangir.
Lorestangir #13 – Enter the Caves
You can find this Lorestangir after you complete the waterfall puzzle and cross the bridge by lighting the brazier on the left. Proceed down the winding tunnel until you see the Lorestangir on the opposite side of the cave, located on the right. You can drop down to the small bridge directly below and then climb up the ledge to reach it.
Lorestangir #14 – Act of Sacrifice
After you relinquish your sword and reach the light and reach the light at the end of the tunnel, head through the cavern until you reach the lower level. This area is characterized by floating rocks that fall to the ground as you approach. Proceed until you reach the tunnel on the left. Instead of ducking through it, follow the path to the right to find the Lorestangir.
Bárðarvík
There are four Hellblade 2 Lorestangir in chapter five:
Lorestangir #15 – To the Sea
Follow the coastal path until you reach the top of the hill past the small waterfall. Instead of continuing forward, turn around and proceed along the path directly behind you to the second, larger waterfall. Follow the stream to find the Lorestangir at the cliff edge.
Lorestangir #16 – Sjávarrisi
Follow Ástriðr up the cliff, between the gap in the rocks, and traverse three ledges until the path widens to reveal a grass hill on the right. Proceed up the hill, then take the path on the right and duck through the small tunnel to reach the Lorestangir at the top of the hill.
Lorestangir #17 – Another Question
You can find this Lorestrangir while completing the shipwreck rune puzzle. The beach is split into three sections, and the third can only be reached from the second section at night. Proceed through the gap in the cliff revealed by the Hiddenfolk’s magic, then squeeze between the rock and follow the cave until you reach the third section of the beach. The Lorestrangir is directly ahead.
Lorestangir #18 – Another Question
Follow the main path through Bárðarvík until you approach a house with two lit torches beside it. Instead of proceeding onward, head left and follow the unlit path up the hill to reach the Lorestrangir beside the campfire.
Hellblade 2 Lorestangir rewards
Once you activate all Hellblade 2 Lorestangir, you automatically unlock Druth’s perspective in the ‘New Story’ menu. This allows you to experience Senua’s Saga with alternative narration by our favorite Irish scholar. It also unlocks Lorestangir Stories in the ‘Extras’ menu so you can listen to the tale of Grettir the Strong in its entirety. Thankfully, progress in Hellblade 2 is persistent, so you don’t need to activate Lorestangir on subsequent playthroughs.
