Humble are highlighting some of gaming’s strongest, most independent women in their latest set of offers. The Female Protagonist sale offers discounts of up to 80% on some of the best games of recent years, all of which are headed up by some of gaming’s most iconic characters.

Humble Monthly October

Developers The Fullbright Company feature heavily, with both Gone Home and the more recent Tacoma on sale, at 80% off and 20% respectively. There’s also Her Story for 75% off at just £1.24 (which is an absolute steal), and rhythm-based roguelike Crypt of the Necrodancer is available for 80% off.

On the less-indie end of the scale, there’s all five episodes of Life is Strange for just £3.99, Alien: Isolation and all of its DLC for £6.99, Rise of the Tomb Raider’s 20 Year Celebration edition for 60%. And now that it’s on PC, Bayonetta is on sale at a healthy 25% off.

Basically, there are some very good games in there, and a lot of breadth, so hopefully there’s something that appeals. Personally, I’d point you towards Life is Strange, because not only is it a wonderful adventure game, it’s an absolute steal here. With its prequel, Before the Storm just out, now is a really good time to try the series out.

The Humble Female Protagonist Sale ends at 18:00 BST on Friday, October 13.
