LoL Patch 7.10 New Skins

Second most important: cosmetics. Lovely, gorgeous cosmetics. Bit more of a visual medium this, so we’ve grabbed the best videos of each skin, as well as a lovely pic or two. Some are relatively simple changes, while others are total reworks of every part of the champion outside the gameplay numbers - new VO, new animations, new particles and the rest. It’s generally defined by how much they cost, so we’ve detailed that as well.

LoL Patch 7.10 developer notes

Andrei 'Meddler' van Roon gave a bit of context on the patch's changes in his initial gameplay notes. He also explained the immediate changes to Zac and Sejuani in a May 4 follow-up. The potential for further changes was explained on Reddit.

This thread also explains another new feature on the way, ping muting.

League of Legends missions

Continuing from the assets found during the Patch 7.9 PBE, further expansions on the system that will be used for tracking rewards for various out-of-game related events have been added in 7.10. This includes various strings for rewards, placeholder art and other bits. Full details on [email protected], and the latest comment from Riot is still this post by Martlet.

Evelynn skin files

Some Evelynn files appeared on the PBE towards the end of the 7.10 cycle. They're textures for her base skin, and are a different colour from her current model. This is likely for her upcoming large-scale rework, but the assumption is that Urgot will come first. His files were datamined as far back as patch 7.6.

That's League of Legends patch 7.10. We'll update as and when we get more info, or we'll see you for patch 7.11 in the very near future. Let us know below if there's any vital info we missed!

Pulsefire Ezreal is also getting a long-awaited rework, but it's footage is still Pre-release (less optimized than Caitlyn's skin) and the community seems conflicted over the VU.

Don't see why anyone cares about Pulsefire Ezreal when his Arcade skin looks about 100x better than the Pulsefire one :)

I assume fixing that issue is the goal

To be honest the whole theme seems wrong for ezreal, I would be so glad for the people who already own the skin if they actually reworked it to a version that actually looks nice and works, but I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed :)

Main problem with Pulsefire Ezreal was (*until 7.10 releases, still is) the auto attack animation being less smooth, so harder to control (missing cs).

I personally never found it a problem, but they've gone ahead and changed it back to a normal (more predictable/controllable) shot). That along with the graphical improvements, it seems they want it to climb back up to it's former glory. IMO Arcade Ezreal is still far cooler, as the design idea hasn't changed at all since the rework. Comparing the pulsefire skins puts Caitlyn miles above the Ezreal rework, and when taking into account Cait's skin is half the price, it's still hard to take the skin seriously.

Feel like they should just downgrade Ezreal to Legendary, refund half RP to anyone who bought it.

It's hit max reply count I presume, as it won't let me reply to your message Ben.

A lot of people agree with you, asking for RP refund. Pulsefire Caitlyn as a gift is the other one people ask for (also my preference), but I doubt either of them will ever happen. In truth, PF Ezreal is a skin. People who bought it for 3250 know what they were paying at the time. If I were to buy a PC today, I wouldn't expect some of my money back a year later when it's cheaper. It's the same argument, 1 year later there are better cheaper PC's available, and my current PC can now be bought for less. That doesn't make my prior investment any less valid.

They've been kind reworking it and giving it a VU, but they could have ignored the skin until Ezreal (as a champion) gets a VU/rework. So whilst I'll join the petitions for a gift, skin border, new icon, or some kind of gift for owners of the skin pre-rework, I doubt there'll be any action made.

Any sources for this? I'd love to see the Urgot rework soon (my money's still on Star Guardian Urgot releases before Graves Cigar returns).
