Overwatch: great game, cultural phenomenon, heroic fictional organisation. Also quite popular with young men and women who really should know better. Fine purveyors of various digital entertainments and titillations Pornhub have stats for 2016 and all your favourite heroes (mainly, let’s be honest, heroines) are doing rather well for themselves.
For something sensible, here’s news on Overwatch getting the Reaper shrug.
As collated by Indy100, Overwatch clocks in at number 11 in the rankings of most popular search terms.
As you can see, family members are winning by a significant margin, but the FPS has a significant advantage over various fetishes. We really, really wouldn’t recommend searching for any terms you don’t recognise from the above, if you’re at work.
Sadly, Indy100 and the Pornhub data it pulls from doesn’t give the granularity required to directly compare Overwatch to the world’s most popular porn stars, or any other information presented there. We may never know how Kim Kardashian’s more risque escapades compare to Reaper when he’s, er, ‘on fire.’
Interestingly, all this comes despite Blizzard making a concerted effort to annihilate Overwatch porn from the internet, likely as part of a family-friendly initiative. If you’re wondering why they decided to do that but most other companies let it slide, you’ll notice Zelda and Peach aren’t listed in the above.
