Oxenfree is a little bit Scooby-Doo, a little bit Twilight Zone, and a whole lot of teen drama. The weird paranormal intrigue and snappy dialog system made it a modern adventure game hit last year, and now it’s completely free, yours to keep through GOG.

As of this post, you’ve got about 42 hours to claim your copy of Oxenfree from GOG’s store, and it will remain in your library ready for DRM-free installation whenever you get around to it. If you haven’t looked into Oxenfree in awhile, you may be interested to know the brief adventure has been updated with a New Game+ option to add some replayability.
This is part of GOG’s Winter Sale, which lasts through December 26. They’ve already given away Grim Fandango Remastered, and it’s a pretty safe bet there’ll be another freebie by the time Christmas is over. In the meantime, you can check out loads of hot deals on games both old and new.
