Star Wars Battlefront 2 classes
Each Battlefront class has three abilities that can be activated in battle, providing them with unique approaches to combat. These are enhanced through the use of Star Cards, of which up to three can be equipped at any one time.
Assault
Thermal Detonator
A basic grenade with a large blast radius and high damage, operating on a timed fuse
Vanguard
Equip a powerful short range weapon that builds no heat. Limited time use.
Scan Dart
Default launcher fires a scan dart to track enemies.
Heavy
Combat Shield
A small forward-facing shield that allows for firing the primary weapon while slowly advancing.
Sentry
Enter a powerful mode by wielding a heavy repeating blaster with massive damage output, at the cost of severely limited movement. Also take reduced damage from explosives.
Impact Grenade
This default impact grenade detonates on contact.
Officer
Blaster Turret
A deployable turret that fires at enemy soldiers and vehicles. Can be picked up, repaired, and detonated.
Battle Command
Issue a Battle Command that inspires friendlies in a small vicinity to push themselves harder, making them able to withstand more damage.
Flash Grenade
Blind your enemies and deal a small amount of damage. Can be retriggered to split into fragments.
Specialist
Infiltrator
Reveal all enemies on the scanner. Scramble enemy scanners in close proximity. Draw a medium-range weapon that builds no heat.
Shock Grenade
Slow enemies down with the default grenade.
Thermal Binoculars
Uncover the heat signatures of your enemies through walls.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 special units
If you collect enough battle points during a match you can temporarily play as a special unit. These units are typically 2,000 – 3,000 points each, and can be played for as long as you can keep them alive.

Flametrooper
Incendiary Imploder
The Incendiary Imploder burns nearby enemies and splits into smaller fires on explosion.
Overload
Overload overrides a weapon’s factory settings. It modifies the primary fire mode and supercools the barrel to prevent heat buildup.
Fortify
Use Fortify to temporarily boost the enforcer’s health.
B2 Super Battle Droid
Overload
Overload your weapon and temporarily increase your rate of fire.
Wrist Rocket
Fire a high velocity anti-personnel rocket from your wrist.
Fortify
Boost your health temporarily.
Death Trooper
Sonic Imploder
The Sonic Imploder uses light and sound to subdue targets, overloading enemies’ senses without inflicting very much damage.

Put your bowcaster in overdrive and increase your fire rate.
