The Stardew Valley modding community has been busy at work creating lots of weird and wonderful additions to the farming sim. Many of the mods add extra objects, small game changes, and cheat codes that make farming easier. But this new mod simply titled ‘Stardew Valley Expanded’ is a massive overhaul of fresh new additions to the base game.

This mega mod was created by FlashShifter and includes a plethora of content for free. FlashShifter lists all the content available in the mod’s description explaining that the mod features, “ten new map locations, 38 new character events, over 400 location messages, reimagined maps and festivals (all maps), remastered Immersive Farm 2, a new town map reflecting all changes, and many miscellaneous additions!”

FlashShifter recommends starting a new save file to experience all the mod’s content from the roots and goes on to explain that the mod is meant to “give the player the magical feeling they had when they first played Stardew Valley.”

The base game of Stardew Valley has a whole host of charming characters, surprise events, and hidden locations but since the game’s release back in 2016 devoted fans have devoured every feature that the game has and created a thriving mod community.
