Here’s how to watch The Elder Scrolls Online’s Skyrim Chapter reveal livestream

The Elder Scrolls Online's next Chapter reveal event is today - here's where to watch

Winter is coming… to The Elder Scrolls Online, with developer ZeniMax Online Studios having revealed at The Game Awards that players will very soon get to explore Skyrim for the thousandth time in TESO’s next Chapter. Details on what’s to come are so far sparse, but not for long – there’s a global reveal event for the next Elder Scrolls Online Chapter today.

At the recent awards show, ZeniMax unveiled a cinematic trailer wrapping up The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr’s first “year-long interconnected adventure”, The Season of the Dragon. At its conclusion, a lone armour-clad figure could be seen surveying a familiarly frosty horizon – accompanied by the words “Explore the dark heart of Skyrim”.

While we know the next Chapter will bring the setting of Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to its online sister franchise – in some form or another – the studio’s saved up all the exciting details for the global reveal event, which kicks off tonight (January 16) on various video streaming sites. It says on TESO’s Twitter channel: “Exciting things are on the horizon. […] We can’t wait to show you what we have in store.”

Plus, the studio reveals in a post on the game’s website that there are rewards up for grabs for TESO players for tuning in. “In addition to Twitch Drops on Twitch.tv/Bethesda, you can unlock unique rewards that all ESO players can enjoy simply by tuning into the stream from various sources, including Twitch, Mixer, Facebook, YouTube, VK, or Steam,” it says.

If the stream gets 80,000 concurrent viewers the long-winged bat pet will unlock, and if it hits the 150,000 mark, there’ll be a “surprise reward inspired by community submissions”.
