Warhammer 40K: Armageddon, Flashback Games’ surprisingly beginner friendly wargame, launched last year, and I thought it was pretty nifty. I’ve not played since I finished my review, but with an expansion launching today, I’m being tempted back to the front.
After months of free updates and DLC, which included new scenarios and the ability to play as the Ork waaaghmachine, Armageddon now has a proper expansion. Vulkan’s Wrath fattens Armageddon up with a new campaign focusing on the hardy Salamanders, Space Marines who go on suicidal missions to protect humanity. Someone’s got to do it.
The new campaign is 10 scenarios-long, showing off the Salamander’s antics during the Second War of Armageddon.
More expansions are in the works for later this year, all featuring different Space Marine chapters.
You can pick Vulkan’s Wrath today for £3.99/$4.99.
