Indie game developers, PCGamesN wants you! After a massively successful debut last year, the Curios Showcase, which we’re once again sponsoring, is returning this September to W.A.S.D. x IGN to provide a platform for strange, unconventional, and beyond-the-norm videogame projects. Is your game small? Weird? Totally outside the mainstream? It doesn’t matter. In fact, that’s exactly what we want. Curios is about offering a platform for projects and game-makers that attempt to reimagine what videogames can be. If that sounds like you, and you also want the chance to exhibit your indie games free of charge, with all PC hardware provided, then we want to hear from you.
W.A.S.D. x IGN is coming this September to the Truman Brewery in London. Attracting fans and game developers from across the industry, it will also see the return of the Curios Showcase. We have space to exhibit 16 brilliant and unique games, and applications are open now.
It doesn’t matter what stage of development you’re at, how small or personal your game is, or how unusual. Curios is all about celebrating the indies that are decidedly different – games that sit beyond the mainstream. If you’re accepted, you will get the chance to showcase your game for free, with all the hardware you might need also provided without charge.
So, it’s a chance to get your game in front of potentially thousands of people, meet with other indie developers, and also experience some of the fantastic upcoming games from across all levels of the industry. We’re looking forward to seeing you there, and remember: no matter how small or how strange, we want to hear from you.
W.A.S.D. x IGN runs from Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16. If you want to apply, however, you only have until Friday, July 14, so please get in touch before then. You can find everything you need to apply right here.
If you just fancy checking out W.A.S.D. as a fan, you can get your tickets here to see some of the most exciting upcoming games early.
