You can rent a house for less than this Assassin’s Creed: Origins statue

Trials of the Gods

Ubisoft have really been pushing the boat out with their Assassin’s Creed Origins merch. First there were the $60,000 headphones containing 18-carat gold. There was also a full-size, 3D-printed sarcophagus, into which was mounted a TV and an Xbox One, and a collector’s issue for $800. Alongside all that, a new statue doesn’t seem particularly bad, but rest assured, it’s pretty expensive.

Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Discovery Tour shows that games can do more than just entertain.

The Assassin’s Creed Origins Trials of the Gods figurine will set you back a cool $500. It features the three gods who players faced in the trials; Sobek, lord of the waters; Anubis, God of the Dead; and Sekhmet, the warrior Goddess. Admittedly, it’s a very nice collection, but I have more important things to spend that kind of money on – a roof over my head, for example.

There are only 100 issues of the hand-painted, resin and brass figurines available worldwide, which potentially explains the expense, and each one comes with a certificate of authenticity. They’re available to pre-order now via Ubisoft’s store, and are due to ship in March. If you’ve got the cash spare and fancy getting hold of one, head to that link, but you might want to be quick about it.
