If you want a slightly more ethical ending, help Antea ascend by banishing spirits and by helping other spirits ascend. Blaming the living rather than banishing souls unlocks the ability to resurrect Antea, but in doing so you betray your oath as a Banisher, earning you the ‘bad’ ending.
This decision isn’t the only choice that plays a role in the ending you receive, you also need to carefully consider your actions in addition to what you say to Antea. For example, if you choose to help Antea ascend but spend the majority of your time in Haunting Cases blaming living humans, she will feel betrayed. The same applies if you swear to help resurrect her and then spend your time helping spirits ascend or stay banished.
The main decision that affects your ending is whether you blame more than 50% of the settlers in Haunting Cases or banish more than 50% of the spirits. Of course, some of the smaller decisions you have on the way will shape your ending slightly, but not to the same extent as your role as a Banisher.
