It turns out you can polish off a round of CoD: Modern Warfare Search and Destroy in less time than it (probably) takes to slurp a victory sip of tea – and one player’s proved it, securing a six-man kill less than three seconds after spawning into a match.
As spotted by The Loadout, Reddit user Burford250 has posted a video of this pretty staggering result, which you can check out below. Spawning in the Piccadilly map, the player immediately blasts his M4A1’s grenade launcher underbarrel off into the distance, and less than three seconds later scores a win, taking out all six opponents in one fell swoop.
It’s not certain whether it’s a new record, but it’s likely one of the fastest wipeouts posted so far since the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release date late last month, reflected in the player’s exclamation of “Oh my-!” and his crew’s laughter at the rapid victory.
Based on the killcam’s shot following the action, it looks like Burford250 landed the grenade in just the right spot to help him get the kills, with it striking a nearby vehicle and creating a massive explosion.
You can check out Burford250’s triumph above.
In other news, the latest CoD: Modern Warfare patch notes and update are now live, bringing plenty of fixes across the game, along with another nerf for the 725 shotgun – its third since the game’s launch.
