I’ve crafted more legendary weapons than I can count throughout my gaming career. +8 longswords, assault rifles with exploding rounds, and daggers of daggering, or something. But never, in all that time, can I recall crafting a pizza. I’m all for real-life pizza-crafting (because then you have a pizza afterward), but where are my videogame pizzas?

Thankfully, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is charting this territory, and the above trailer is all about how you’ll make fantasy pizzas. Dire bear pizzas, king pig pizzas, dragon pizzas, and pizzas kissed with hellfire for that extra spice. I’m actually projecting here, and the trailer shows off a lot more than pizzas, but it’s been a while since lunch now and I’m hungry.
Most of the info above we’ve known for some time, but it’s nice to have it all in a convenient, digestible form like this. Check it out for a refresher on character creation, and how you’ll be ripping faces to get new shapeshifting options, as well as how the Game Master mode and co-op factor in. It all looks very rad, and I’m looking forward to every second of it.
