If you do want to play Dragon’s Dogma 2 online, you can enjoy browsing and recruiting other players’ DD2 pawns who will join your party, taking experience and riftstones back to the original player that created them.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 multiplayer isn’t something that exists, with Capcom marketing its sequel as a “single-player experience”. So, while you can play alongside your friends’ Pawns, they’ll be controlled by AI just as they are in the main game.
