Remember when leaked gameplay footage of Fallout 4 appeared on self-help service Pornhub? Well, it seems Bethesda have finally got their revenge, not by taking the company through the courts, but by stealing the site’s visitors away for a brief wasteland vacation.

That’s right, it seems that Fallout 4 isn’t just messing up the economy by causing players to call in sick for work (radiation poisoning for me), but it’s also making people wank less.
In an interview with GamesBeat (haha, ‘Beat’), Pornhubvice president Corey Price told the publication that the site saw a 10 percent drop in traffic when Fallout 4 launched. Beginning at 5am, the numbers began to drop off, carrying through to 3pm, and starting all over again at 6pm.
“We can’t say we’re too surprised with what happened to our traffic during peak gaming hours,” said Corey Price. “Based on the data, it looks like a huge surge of people decided to indulge in some wasteland wandering by taking the day off of work and school to play, while the rest of the world had to wade through what we assume were the longest hours of work ever in anticipation of some alone time with their consoles.”
It’s no big shock the game stopped people touching themselves for a day – Fallout 4 has done rather well, after all. With all these links to the adult industry, it’s only a matter of time before the inevitable porn parody. Just leave Dogmeat out of it, okay?
