HP is giving us an early Christmas present… well, an early Black Friday present actually because it’s having a flash sale ahead of the big November consumergasm. There are some shiny laptop and desktop PC deals in HP’s early sales event, but it’s only on for a limited time, so you might need to get a move on if you want to bag one of these bargains.
One in particular that’s caught our eye is this HP Envy Desktop that can be configured with an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super to deliver real-time ray tracing in the latest games, providing a whole new level of realism to games like Control and even Minecraft. Yes… especially Minecraft.
The HP Envy Desktop features a 9th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU, doesn’t cost to switch to dual channel memory, and features a full 1TB of storage space to keep all the RTX ray traced classics. Classics? Quake II is definitely a classic, and that’s got all kinds of ray tracing goodness now baked into it.
You even get a DVD drive with it. Seriously, they still put those in PCs, though it’s side-mounted which means it’s no use as cup holder we’re afraid… The Nvidia RTX 2060 Super configuration of the HP Envy TE01-0159xt will set you back $1109, a saving of $150 on the pre-sale price of the desktop machine.
There are other options too; you could go for the GTX 1660 Ti version, with stellar 1080p gaming performance for well under a grand, or add in a high performance SSD to speed up your storage. Just choose your configuration and bag yourself a powerful gaming rig.
But the HP flash sale ends soon, so get a move on if you want to get in on the pre-Black Friday bargains.
