Every day is hump day for Mount & Blade II’s newest mounts

Some of the mounts in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be of the hump-bearing variety, developer TaleWorlds revealed in their weekly update.

Here’s what we know about how modding will work in Mount & Blade II.

Camels, dromedaries to be specific, are going to feature as pack animals and cavalry – er, camelry – in the game’s southern desert region of the Nahasa. Camel riders will have a height advantage over horse cavalry, but this comes at the cost of making themselves more exposed to missile fire.

However, camels’ natural hardiness is also going to be reflected, and they’ll be able to withstand more punishment than horses, and they’ll get a bonus while traveling through the Nahasa’s barren sands.

There’s still no set release date for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, but you can follow developments over at the game’s Steam page.
