Rocket League fans want Tesla’s Cybertruck

The Cybertruck already looks like it belongs in a digital game

Tesla’s Cybertruck has already begun making its way to Grand Theft Auto V (via mods), and now it looks like players want to see it head to Rocket League, too. That’s according to a petition that’s popped up asking the company’s CEO Elon Musk to team up with developer Psyonix to bring the futuristic contraption to the car-based soccer game.

As spotted by our sister site The Loadout, a Rocket League Cybertruck petition has been posted to Change.org, has already reached over 3,500 signatures at the time of writing. Its creator Nikki Luzader says: “Our great and generous Elon Musk has bestowed upon us a revolutionary vehicle whose beauty, power, and elegance is unsurpassed. Now my fellow gamers, we must fight for what is most undoubtedly meant for us to play with.”

It calls for fans to sign it and help “put it in the hands of the man with the plan himself” – Elon Musk. The user also says they’ve already sent the first set of 2,500 signatures to Tesla and the studio with a message from fans added.

It’s true that a mod that puts the Cybertruck in Rocket League is already out there, which you can see below, but it looks like quite a few fans are keen to see it join the official Rocket League roster.

Whether the Cybertruck will indeed come to Rocket League one day, we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, check out what the Rocket Pass 5 brings, which just arrived yesterday, along with the new Blueprint update.
