Ronin gets June 30 release date for leaving Early Access

One of the more curious and engaging things that Devolver brought to PAX East this year was a turn-based stealth game called Ronin. Now, after serving its time in Early Access, the final version of the game is about to be released.

Ronin may no longer be the only turn-based stealth kid on the block, now that Klei’s excellent Invisible Inc. has hit the scene. But Ronin was always a bit more like Klei’s previous foray into stealth gaming, Mark of the Ninja, with a turn-based structure cleverly built around it.

Now, the final version of the game is coming out on June 30. From the press release:

RONIN and the RONIN Digital Special Edition will launch on Steam, GOG, and other digital services with 25% off the $12.99 / £9.99 / € 12.99 price for the standard game and $19.99 / £14.99 / € 19.99 price for the Digital Special Edition. The RONIN Digital Special Edition includes the game, an exclusive full-color digital comic, and the full original soundtrack in both MP3 and FLAC formats.

I’m definitely eager to see if i can get on any better with Ronin now that I’m not playing it shoulder-to-shoulder with a crowd of thousands, with an exhausted developer judging my every mistake.
