Hellblade 2 system requirements

What are the Hellblade 2 system requirements? Ninja Theory is taking a detailed approach to the hardware needs of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. It has revealed four levels of requirements offering everything from low to very high, but some concerns are now being raised for the console version of the game.

To get the best out of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, you are going to need one of the best graphics cards in either the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. On the other end of the scale, we now know that getting the game running at 1080p with low settings will be surprisingly easy.

Here are the Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 system requirements:

Minimum (Low, 1080p) Medium (Medium, 1080p) Recommended (High, 1440p)
OS Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later

AMD Radeon RX 5700
Intel Arc A580
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
Intel Arc A770

Intel Core i7 10700K
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM 16GB 16GB 16GB
Storage 70GB SSD 70GB SSD 70GB SSD

The Hellblade 2 minimum requirements still utilize the now-defunct Nvidia GTX cards, with the GTX 1070 being where the bar is set. On the CPU front, six-core processors are suggested with the Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 specifically listed. This will get you good performance at 1080p with global low settings.

In a strange turn of events, the Hellblade 2 recommended specs are suggested as ideal for global high settings at 1440p rather than 1080p. Here, the eight-core Intel Core i7 10700K or six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is required. As for your pixel pusher, you’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.

We’re also treated to some Hellblade 2 ultra specs. These are the requirements for playing the game at 4K. This is where your gaming PC will need to step up considerably with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX as mentioned before. As for you’re CPU, you’ll need the ten-core Intel Core i5 12600K or eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 5700X.

We know that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be locked to 30 fps on consoles, but no such confirmation has been made for PC. However, with frame rates not identified in the system requirements, we have to assume that the performance for each level is 30 fps. Some players are worried that the lofty demands for the recommended tier are bad news for the Xbox Series S, which may be forced to use dynamic resolution tech just to run at 30 fps.

As part of the system requirements reveal, it’s also confirmed that Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3 and Intel XeSS 1.3 will be available from launch.

Across all system requirement levels, you’ll need 16GB of RAM, the only surprise here being that for 4K gameplay this isn’t increased to 32GB. As for the Hellblade 2 download size, it will require at least 70GB free on a gaming SSD.
