What is Skull and Bones infamy?

Skull and Bones infamy can be considered your player level; it’s how the world regards you and yours, and can determine everything from the missions you can undertake, to what the vendors will be willing to sell you. You begin Skull and Bones as a bottom feeder; a nobody with no crew and no ship, aiming to climb to the infamy rank of Kingpin. Kingpins are the big bosses of Skull and Bones, operating entire organizations, rather than just a single ship.

Here is every infamy level in Skull and Bones:

  • Outcast
  • Scoundrel
  • Rover
  • Freebooter
  • Buccaneer
  • Brigand
  • Marauder
  • Corsair
  • Cutthroat
  • Kingpin

When you’re out in the world, you can use your Spyglass to examine other Skull and Bones ships. If they’re a player, it will show you their infamy level; you’ll want to steer clear of those of a much higher infamy level, as they’ll likely have more advanced gear than you.
