Sker Ritual system requirements

Left 4 Dead meets CoD Zombies in this FPS, but are the minimum and recommended specs the true enemy, or is your gaming PC up to the task?

What are the Sker Ritual system requirements? In a game proudly inspired by Left 4 Dead and CoD Zombies, Sker Ritual will take a fresh stab at round-based FPS gameplay. While this game modernizes the traditional ‘see zombie, shoot zombie’ gameplay loop, its system requirements currently read very low, despite the game packing quite the graphical punch.

You won’t need the best graphics card to run Sker Ritual, even when its supernatural enemies flood the spooky environments. We spent some time trying the game out at the Insomnia Game Festival and came away impressed by how smooth it runs for a game that is still in early access.

Here are the Sker Ritual system requirements:

Minimum Recommended
OS Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later
GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
AMD Radeon R7 260x
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
AMD Radeon R9 290
CPU Intel Core i5 4460
AMD FX 6300
Intel Core i5 10500
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RAM 8GB 8GB
Storage 15GB 15GB

The Sker Ritual minimum requirements set an incredibly low bar and most gaming laptops and PCs from the last decade should have no trouble getting the game moving.

You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x graphics card paired with an Intel Core i5 4460 or AMD FX 6300 CPU. While it’s not expressly stated on the Steam store page, it’s likely that these requirements will equate to 30fps gameplay at 720p on the lowest graphical presets.

For the Sker Ritual recommended requirements the primary components take a small jump up, but it’s far more demanding on the CPU front than that of the GPU. You’ll need an Intel Core i5 10500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2500 CPU alongside and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU.

While the leap isn’t huge, we expect that these requirements should be what you need for 30fps at 1080p on the high graphical presets. It doesn’t matter whether you’re aiming for the minimum or recommended specs, the RAM requirements for Sker Ritual sit at 8GB.

The Sker Ritual download size is currently very low, with just 15GB required and no suggestion that an SSD is needed. Naturally, using one of the best SSDs for gaming will offer faster loading times and maybe even some additional performance boosts, but this is a rare example of a game not pushing for SSD technology in 2024.
