Torment: Tides of Numenera gets a free weekend as the inXile library goes on sale

inXile have spent the last half-decade building on their RPG roots, and are continuing to do so with upcoming games like Wasteland 3 and The Bard’s Tale 4. If you’ve missed out on the resurgence of the RPG developers, you’re in luck, because most of their library is on deep discount and one of their flagships is free-to-play for the next 48 hours.

It can be tough to roleplay somebody other than yourself, but Divinity: Original Sin 2 helped us learn how.

Torment: Tides of Numenara is a spiritual successor to all-time classic Planescape: Torment, and it’s one we absolutely loved upon release. You can play as much of it as you can manage to squeeze out in the next two days through Steam, and it’ll be at a 56% discount through next week.

The studio’s first game, The Bard’s Tale, is also half-off as part of the sale, as is the start of their Kickstarted reboot in Wasteland 2. (Not to mention the original, three decade old Wasteland.) Plus you can get 75% off their remake of PC action classic Choplifter.

All the discounts run through November 1 alongside the Steam Halloween sale, so it’s a perfect time to catch up on some great RPGs.
