Unlock Wuthering Waves co-op
To unlock Wuthering Waves co-op, you need to reach Union Level 22. Your Union Level is your account level, which determines what content and features you can access. Leveling is straightforward as you gain experience from everything you do: from completing quests and challenges, to simply exploring the map.
If you want to raise your Union Level as fast as possible, we recommend sticking to the main quests first, then focusing on companion and side quests. Exploring the open world and tackling world bosses is also a great way to gain Union Level experience, but the latter can be quite tough early on.
How to join a Wuthering Waves co-op session
To join another player, you need to add them via the friend list and request to join their session. Up to three players can join and tackle bosses in the overworld. Each player has access to one of their Resonators. If there are only two players, the host can switch between two.
Progression isn’t shared between players, but looted materials and captured Echoes are. It’s worth playing together to farm upgrade materials or help others with difficult overworld bosses. Certain instanced challenges such as the experience and weapon upgrade material challenges can also be played in co-op.
