Call of Duty: Warzone duos and quads modes leak in datamines

Looks like more options are coming to Warzone soon

Call of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone launched with nothing but trios, so if you wanted to get into anything other than a three-person squad, you were out of luck. We quickly got a solos mode after launch, though, and it looks like the other traditional battle royale options are coming soon. While hints of a MW2 remaster have overshadowed everything else, recent datamines have offered heavy hints about what’s coming to Warzone next.

No fewer than seven mode names have popped up in the datamines, and while there’s no guarantee any of these playlists will join the game until they go live, this does give us a good hint about what the devs are working on. Battle Royale Duos and Battle Royale Quads are both on the list.

The remaining modes are likely candidates for special limited-time modes. High Action promises more quickly-paced matches with faster gas. Shotty Snipers is, as the name implies, shotguns and sniper rifles only – no mid-range weapons and no loadout drops. One Shot similarly offers no Loadout drops, but makes headshots one-shot.

There are also hints of ‘realism’ and ‘hardcore’ modes, which should offer a more tactical spin on Warzone. You can see a full rundown of the datamines via Reddit.
