What are the Ghost of Tsushima system requirements? One of the most anticipated PlayStation PC ports, behind Bloodborne (should it ever happen), Ghost of Tsushima is set to arrive on May 16, 2024, and we can’t wait to try it out. PC port specialist Nixxes is behind the release, and it has a fantastic track record so far.

The Ghost of Tsushima system requirements don’t demand the best graphics card, unless you’re aiming for 4K gameplay at 60fps. Despite the recent confirmation from Nvidia that the GTX line of GPUs is out of production, we can see these Pascal GPUs still featuring as the bare minimum you’ll need to start playing.

Here are the Ghost of Tsushima system requirements:

Minimum (720p @ 30 fps) Recommended (1080p @ 60 fps)
OS Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later
GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 960
AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
CPU Intel Core i3 7100
AMD Ryzen 1200
Intel Core i5 8600
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM 8GB 16GB
Storage 75GB – SSD recommended 75GB – SSD required

The Ghost of Tsushima minimum requirements ask for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon 5500 XT alongside an Intel Core i3 7100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. We are surprised to see that only 8GB of RAM is needed at this level, although these specs are for 30fps gameplay at 720p on the lowest graphical settings.

When it comes to the Ghost of Tsushima recommended specs, the jump-up isn’t too harsh, and if you meet the demands, you can expect 60 fps gameplay at 1080p. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600XT GPU paired with an Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 3600 CPU. You’ll need 16GB of RAM for these specs.

As predicted, the overall system requirements are lower for Ghost of Tsushima than for Horizon Forbidden West, and this will hopefully lead to Sucker Punch’s open-world game running better on Steam Deck.

The Ghost of Tsushima ultra specs ask for an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and either an Intel Core i5 11400 or Ryzen 5 5600. If you can meet this high bar, you can expect 60 fps gameplay at 4K resolution, provided you have one of the best gaming monitors.

High (1440p @ 60 fps) Ultra (4K @ 60 fps)
OS Windows 10 or later Windows 10 or later
GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
AMD Radeon RX 6800
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
CPU Intel Core i5 11400
AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Intel Core i5 11400
AMD Ryzen 5 5600
RAM 16GB 16GB
Storage 75GB – SSD required 75GB – SSD required

The Ghost of Tsushima download size sits at 75GB, which is a fair chunk of storage space, but still well below the 100GB mark. One of the best SSDs for gaming is recommended at all levels with the exception of minimum, so a traditional HDD will work at a push.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card and want to make sure you’re prepared for the launch of Ghost of Tsushima on PC, you can download the new Nvidia Game Ready Driver, purposely designed to get the best out of your GPU for this open-world adventure.
