Is Hades 2 on Game Pass? Fans will soon have the chance to play the highly anticipated sequel to one of the best roguelike games ever created. However, even though the early access period is imminent, chances are that it’s not being considered for Game Pass just yet.
While it will probably be a long time until Hades 2 appears on our list of the best Game Pass games, we can at least predict if and when we’ll likely see if it’ll ever appear on a service described by many as a great deal for videogame fans. We may not get any confirmation either way until after the Hades 2 release date, but below are our thoughts on when you could expect to see the roguelike game on Game Pass.
Is Hades 2 on Game Pass?
There are currently no plans to bring Hades 2 to Game Pass. As the game is currently undergoing its technical testing phase, there’s still some time before it launches in early access. With that in mind, there’s no indication from Supergiant Games or Microsoft that the early access version is coming to the service.
Things get a little more complicated regarding whether Hades 2 will ever come to Game Pass. Microsoft likes to use Game Pass as a platform for indie developers to launch their new games on, but given Supergiant Games’ popularity and overall status as a game dev, it certainly doesn’t fall under this category anymore. While the original Hades made its way onto the service, it took over a year after it launched when all the game of the year hype had died down.
Given that the first game in the series eventually came to Game Pass, we anticipate that Hades 2 could come to the service at some point in the future. However, unless there’s an announcement stating otherwise, we don’t have any reason to believe that it will be on Game Pass from day one.
