The latest iteration of the gruesome and fatality-inducing fighting game, Mortal Kombat 1, has been checked for compatibility, and currently sits on Steam with a ‘playable’ commendation. While Mortal Kombat 1 has been deemed playable, it misses out on receiving a ‘verified’ status, likely due to some in-game text being illegible on the Steam Deck screen.
Other fighting games like Street Fighter 6 have earned spots on our Best Steam Deck games list, but we don’t know if Mortal Kombat 1 will follow suit. Without an official word from NetherRealm Studios or Valve, we can only continue to speculate if the inclusion of Denuvo DRM will have an effect on the performance of Mortal Kombat 1 on the Steam Deck.
